Egg In A Basket

Ingredients:

1 egg,
Butter,
1 Slice of bread

Instructions:

Begin by using a cup to cut out a hole in the middle of the bread slice, place the circle of bread you have cut out aside.

Now butter your pan and place it on the fire. Once the butter is melted and sizzling, add the slice of bread with the hole in it to the pan and quickly crack the egg into the hole of the bread.

Once the egg is cooked on one side, flip the bread over and cook the other side.Enjoy!

Helpful Hints:

One variation is to crack the yolk once you've added the egg, but personally I enjoy having the yolk intact in order to dip the circle of bread into the yolk.

Also, if you'd like you can fry the circle of bread in the pan real fast before you sit and enjoy your dish.
