2 lbs. cheddar cheese, grated 1/2 pt./235mL Guinness Draught 6-8 tsp./30–40mL Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp./15mL cornstarch Salt & pepper, to taste Cayenne pepper, to taste French bread or toast, cut into chunks for dipping

Instructions:

1. Put grated cheese into your fondue dish or enamelled iron casserole dish and melt gently, over medium heat, stirring continuously.2. Add remaining ingredients and stir until the fondue thickens slightly. 3. For dipping, use chunks of French bread or toast.
