How to Roast Pumpkin Seeds

Number of Servings: 4-6
Prep Time: 45 minutesSkill Level: Easy

Ingredients:

Pumpkin seeds

salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (162.8 degrees C).

2. Rinse pumpkin seeds under cold water, remove the pulp and string, and drain seeds on paper towels.

3. Grease a large baking sheet with vegetable oil or non-stick spray, and add the pumpkin seeds in a single layer, stirring the seeds around until well-coated.

4. Sprinkle seeds with salt to taste and roast in the oven for 25 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Let cool before serving.

Helpful Hints:

For more Autumn flavor and aroma, try sprinkling a bit of cinnamon and sugar along with the salt. The taste (and smell) are wonderful.
