2. In a gallon pitcher combine 1 cup lemon juice, 1 cup sugar, and 6 cups cold water.
3. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Adjust water to taste. Chill and serve over ice.
Helpful Hints:
To make juicing easier, roll the lemons between your hand and a hard surface (for example, a table or counter top) before cutting the lemons in half and juicing.
