Bow
hunting and archery are as popular now as they ever were.
With
a long history dating back to such notables as Richard the Lionheart
on up to early Native American history, the recurve and compound
bows that modern day archers have come a long way since ancient
times.
Today,
the simple piece of sapling with a strand of sinew has been replaced
by sturdier materials with weights, pulleys and other engineering
marvels that enhance shooting range and accuracy. And the arrows
are not anything that Robin Hood would recognize.
