It's the Caribbean calling ... to invite cricket fans everywhere to the 2007 Cricket World Cup!

51 matches take place over 47 days from March 11 to April 28, 2007 with Jamaica having the honor of hosting the opening ceremony on March 11.

Competing in the Cricket World Cup will be 16 nations divided into 4 groups of 4 teams.

The top two teams from each group move on to Super 8 matches beginning on March 27 played in Antigua, Guyana, Grenada and Barbados. Four teams will advance to the semi-finals which will take place in Jamaica on April 24, and St Lucia on April 25.

The final takes place at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on April 28, with complete matches slated to air live or with selected highlights televised worldwide.
