The Chase starts right here in 2012, as fans buckle up for another exciting Sylvania 300 - the kickoff to the final 10-race countdown of the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship.

With 2012 marking the 29th Sylvania 300 race, watch for complete TV coverage on ESPN live from the New Hampshire International Speedway on Sunday afternoon, September 23, 2012.

One of the highest rated NASCAR events on television, the Sylvania 300 draws more than 100,000 fans to NHIS year after year. Tickets officially go on sale in early 2012 with ticket prices ranging from $40 for the 'nosebleeds" seats to well over $100 for prime Grandstand seating in the center of all the action.

Among the top contenders for the “Chase for the Cup” will be names like Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson.

In 2011, it was superstar Tony Stewart who went on win the Sylvania 300, and dominated for the rest of the season to take the 2011 Sprint Cup championship.
