MAIN Recreation Video Games Spike Video Game Awards

Time to gear up for the 6th annual 2008 Spike TV Video Game Awards with nominees anticipated to be announced in early November.

Stay tuned for the awards ceremony to be taped in December with an official airing to follow, featuring top awards for Game of the Year and a "best of" list for innovative graphics, technology, as well as the hottest video action & adventure over the past year.

2007 Video Game Awards Recap

Samuel L. Jackson was again the master of ceremonies at Spike TV's Video Game Awards for the third consecutive year in 2007, honoring the annual show's 5th anniversary.

Appearing live at the event - taped December 7, 2007 at the Mandaly Bay Events Center in Las Vegas - were Criss Angel, Kurt Angle, Tia Carrere, Tony Hawk, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Dave Navarro, Steve-O and Tila Tequila.
