Brain Quest - It's Okay to Be Smart

Brain Quest Ages 4 and up

Brain Quest is a great travel and go game. Brain Quest's web site boasts that it's America's #1 educational bestseller, with 23.7 million copies sold, Brain Quest is the game that kids love, parents trust, and teachers approve.

I believe they are probably right.

Children love to challenge themselves. My daughters love Brain Quest. We take it in the car, on plane trips and anywhere we might find ourselves with a couple of minutes to spare…on line in the supermarket, doctor's office etc.

My oldest is just learning to read so Brain Quest involves adult participation akin to a game show host reading questions for participants. I read a question and the kids take turns answering it. The answers are highlighted on the next page or at the bottom of the page.

Object of the game : to answer age appropriate questions or solve picture puzzles

How to play the game : Simply ask the questions on the picture cards. Children can answer either verbally, by pointing to the correct answer or both.

Why parents love this game :

  • It is a game that encourages children to strive to do well
  • It lets children demonstrate what they know
  • It's portable
  • It does not need batteries
  • It is an educational game that invites positive interaction between children and adults
  • It develops listening, vocabulary and syntax skills
  • It's reasonably priced
  • It can be played for 2 minutes or 2 hours

Sesame Street Magazine named it one of the Top 9 Products for kids. "Money" magazine called it one of the 50 best values in the USA. Currently Brain Quest offers products for children ages 2-6 and for grades 1-7 in a variety of subject matters. Each volume offers a variety of games options and suggestions for maximizing fun!
