I've seen several magnetic Chinese checker sets, but I really like this one because it's completely flat and fits easily into the front flap of any carry-on bag.

As a ringing endorsement as a great travel game, we recently took this on vacation and it kept my oldest daughter happy and occupied while we sat on the runway for over two hours!

This magnetic Chinese checker game is produced by eeBoo Toys. They also carry a great series of other travel games: Fairy Magnetic Game, 8-Track Raceway, Space Race 9, Bug Checkers, Baseball, Chess, Pachiisi, Slips & Ladders and Travel Bingo.

Each game is packaged in a handy plastic bag with zipper and handle. All games (except bingo) have magnetic pieces. Each game is beautifully illustrated by a different well-known children's book artist.

Eeboo's magnetic Chinese checker set features rich and colorful graphics of dragons, landscapes and lanterns, and offers some historical information on the history of Chinese checkers.

The object of the game: to be the first player to move all of your pieces from one triangle to the opposite triangle of the star.

How to play: each player chooses a color and places their ten pieces on the starting triangle closest to them. The youngest player goes first and moves one piece. A turn can be either one or two moves. Players move to the next spot or can jump over another piece. The jump can be made over any colored piece and multiple jumps are allowed in any direction.
