Connect Four

Sequence for Kids GameAges 7 and up

Connect Four is a Hasbro classic.

Most children grow up playing tic-tac-toe and Connect Four is the perfect progression - it is like a vertical tic-tac-toe. Children love to play this game over and over again. It is so simple yet even adults are amazed when someone connects four and they did not see it coming!

The game comes with 21 black and 21 red checker pieces that are used to vertically place in the grid provided. Connect Four enables children to learn to think expansively.. Since the grid is played vertically it helps children expand their views of the world by adding additional dimensions to their game world.

The object of the game: to be the first player to get four checkers lined up in a row - horizontal, vertical or diagonal - wins the game.

Why parents love this game:

  • It has simple rules

  • Teaches children the concept of strategy

  • It is reasonably priced

  • Great adult/child game that keeps everybody entertained

  • It's a great multi-generational game for the whole family
