Ed Emberley's Complete FunPrint Drawing Book

Fun with Fingerpaints Drawing Book For the whole family

We just got this fabulous book as a birthday gift. Both my daughters love it. The oldest likes the challenge of picking a picture in the book and creating her own version of it and my youngest likes the idea of using her fingers (with permission!) to create art - with license to make whatever her imagination tells her to.

This 80-page book is actually two books. It includes Ed Emberley's Fingerprint Drawing Book and the Great Thumbprint Drawing Book all in one.

The book comes with a Fingerprint Stamp pad that has 10 colors of washable ink and a finger-cleaning sponge in the center. The ink stamp pads are large and made to accommodate any size finger.

The book itself is fun to flip through. Who would have thought that your own individual fingerprints could be the start of cool art?

Ed Emberley's Complete FunPrint Drawing Book starts the reader with easy projects. He demonstrates how to create a person, a person walking, birds, fish, spiders, rabbits and frogs. He then teaches his students/readers how to create action, moods, and how to accessorize your figures and drawings. He also has a section that focuses on seasonal themes. He walks you through simple to quite elaborate fingerprint art.

Why parents love this book:

  • It's creative
  • It's great for the whole family
  • It's portable and can be used in cars, planes, restaurants anywhere your fingers can go
  • Everyone's an artist
  • Completely washable ink
