Dueling Racers;
K'NEX, ages 7+, MSRP $19.99USD
K'nex Dueling Racers set has 136 pieces; including rods, connectors
and genuine K'NEX bricks. For high performance, two motors are
included, one for each racer. Each Motor needs 2 "AA"
batteries, not included.
The recommended age is 7 and up, younger children may enjoy playing
with this set but please remember small pieces are chokables.
As I always say, "Playing with your kids is not only recommended
but encouraged, but remember to take turns." The kit comes
with instructions for two alternate race car models.
The racers were so simple to create, allowing for basic to elaborate
designs, dependent totally on the builder's design. The motors
had a bit of power. We were impressed. The Toy Guru Crew liked
that they were able to mix up the designs and race two cars all
from one box. They also liked that they had so many options with
just one set, they could try it out, make different things and
only had add more sets if they wanted to; which they did.
K'nex deserves kudos for coming up with a brilliant idea. The
K'nex bricks are genius. They are compatible with all brick building
systems, and this is a beautiful thing. You can now incorporate
three different building systems into one stupendous creation.
Wah-ha-ha! This added dimension really opens up some pretty cool
building options.
Children are able to use their imaginations and explore more options
for their handiwork. Playing and having fun while getting an amazing
educational boost, without even realizing it. Block building opens
up so many areas of development; children advance physically,
socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
