Ball Track Construction Set
Made
in Germany, Haba Inc., Recommended for ages 3+; Price Range $63.00
- $75.00; 42 beech wood pieces, set includes 6 glass marbles.
Haba's team
of "Inventors for Children" have stayed true to their
philosophy of creating "Inventive Playthings for Inquisitive
Minds". The Haba Ball Track Construction Set is an awesome
introduction into the world of fun with physics.
Children can
and will flex their creativity muscles for hours designing paths,
bridges and tunnels, then watching to see how fast the marble
will roll though their creation. It is wonderful to watch the
excitement and pure enthusiasm expressed when that marble finally
rings the bell or successfully passes through an obstacle.
Children use
reasoning, intuition and perception to problem solve and come
up with new ways to get that marble rolling. The options for play
and learning seem limitless. The marbles are "choke-able"
so it is advisable for adults to play with and keep an eye on
small ones while they play. Not a problem because The Ball Track
is as much fun for grownups as it is for the kids.
The best learning is done through play and the level of learning
packed into this one fun and very inviting toy is amazing. Children
further cognitive development with simple rules of physics, cause
and effect. They increase fine motor and sensory skills. The Ball
Track encourages independent play and problem solving, language,
and Social/Emotional development.
In addition
to all the educational aspects of this toy you have
- gently
beveled edges
- bright
colors
- multiple
shapes and sizes

attention to detail

designs

The Haba Ball
Track Construction Set includes 42 blocks made of beech wood and
six glass marbles. A small brass bell is suspended from one of
the blocks by a retractable string. Haba's respect and conservation
of their natural environment is apparent with the use of indigenous
wood and water-based paint for their heirloom quality toys. From
the cut-out to assembly all parts are manufactured in Bad Rodach
Germany.
