Laugh
& Learn Say Please Tea Set: Fisher Price, ages 6-36 months,
MSRP $18.00US
Tea time with toddlers is even more fun and educational with the
Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Say Please Tea Set,
our little ones rocked back and forth and squealed gleefully to
the Mrs.
Potts-like voice that came from the pastel hued, smiling teapot.
The mighty mini Crew enjoyed each of the three play settings.
The gurgling sounds, the 'Please' and 'Thank You', and the "I'm
a Little Teapot" song all delighted our toddling toy tossers.
The
Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Tea Set includes two whimsical
smiling cups, three delicious looking pastry treat shapes, a shape
sorter plate, and a happy little teapot. On the Teapot is a teabag:
press it and listen to cheerful songs like "I'm a little
Teapot". Tip the teapot to hear gurgling/pouring sounds,
then lift the lid to hear more phrases and greetings.
The
chunky plastic pieces are sized just right for little hands. This
set is not meant to be used with liquids therefore promoting a
positive play experience. That means no little spills to undermine
self confidence. Pretend play encourages early interactive skills
and learning through everyday experiences.
This set was a great hit with the Crew. The little ones age 10
months and up really enjoyed playing with it, and I have to admit
we never get tired of watching the little bitties dance and rock
back and forth squealing and clapping. It made the toy fun for
us, too.
Tea Set requires 2 AA batteries which were included.
Along with providing lots of giggles, the Laugh & Learn Say
Please Tea Set lives up to its name by also providing the following:
- Promotes
cognitive development
- Introduces
numbers, shapes and opposites.
- Enhances
language and communication skills.
- Encourages
sharing and good manners.
- Develops
small and large motor skills
