Sing
With Me Barney
Sing with
Me Barney; JAKKS Pacific, Inc.; Recommended for ages 18 months
+, price range $14.99 -$19.99.
Sing with Me Barney is one of a line of toys making their debut
this year to honor the occasion of Barney's 20th birthday!
In this latest
reincarnation, Barney holds a microphone and dances while he sings.
Your child has their very own child-size microphone that looks
like Barney's.
The real magic
happens when your child presses the top musical note on their
microphone, and Barney begins to sing and dance along to any of
three classic children's tunes : Boom, Boom, Ain't It Great To
Be Silly; If You're Happy and You Know It; and The More We Get
Together.
The recommended age is 18 months and up. Young children might
be tempted to put
pieces in their mouths. I think that all ages would enjoy this
toy as long as there is adult supervision. This is not a soft
plush. It has a hard body full of animatronics, with material
around the outside.
Young children
love to watch a toy come to life with bright colors, music and
movement, and Sing with Me Barney is sure to mesmerize everybody
from the very young to the not-so-young.
Providing an opportunity for music participation in a fun way
to strengthen children's educational, physical, and emotional
development. By learning a song, a musical instrument, or a dance
step, your child experiences an exceptional sensory integration
of mind and body.
Sing with
Me Barney provides for fun, interactive play with music and dance.
Studies
have shown that sensory integration is vital in a child's learning
aptitude for subjects like reading, writing, and math.
Children love
to hear their own voices, and encouraging your child to sing and
dance along with Barney promotes positive self esteem!
