Tie Dye Party by ALEX

Tie Dye PartyFrom bland to bright, from boring to electrifying! This Tie Dye Party is not to be missed. The kit comes with shoe laces and some wristbands but in actuality this is not enough to get any child excited. Old or new white T-Shirts make this party come to life.

How to play :

Each Tie Dye Party kit comes with 3 bottles of tie dye - yellow, red and blue, a pair of 100% cotton sweat bands, shoe laces, soda ash, latex gloves, rubber bands, and easy to follow instructions with different tie dye techniques to try!

I recommend preparing your work area with plastic and getting extra gloves. One pair is not enough. I also recommend that if you only plan on doing the items included in the kit and perhaps one or two shirts — only dissolve half of the soda ash and save the other half for your next Tie Dye Party because after this party, your kids will be hooked!

Why parents love this activity :

  • It never gets boring, you can tie dye and then re-tie dye for dramatic results
  • It teaches children the concept of patience and delayed gratification
  • It teaches children planning skills…what design and color scheme they want and how to go about creating it
  • You only get better with age and experience
  • Children learn how to use primary colors to create other colors
  • The whole family can be involved in creating beautiful wearable art
