Some of the South's best fall colors can be found (where else?) in Georgia.

Especially in the northern part of the state where the weather is cooler, the Peach State offers up a dozen or more state parks, scenic mountain trails, and the spectacular beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Even in Atlanta, it's just a half-hour drive out the city to Red Top Mountain State Park which offers great views of clear blue Lake Allatoona embraced by the vivid reds and yellows of fall.

Have fun!
