Quebec
Quebec's
cold, northern climate is not ideal for grape vines, but that
hasn't kept enterprising vintners from producing classic wines.
Most of the wineries in Quebec are small and clustered south of
Montreal, close to the border of Vermont. The small quantities
of wine mean that they are normally only sold at the wineries...
along with maple syrup, apple cider and other local products.
Needless to say, touring the wineries in this province is a unique experience, and a fun day out for both wine experts and newcomers to the winery touring scene.
