Recognizing the most popular Latin music on the charts, the American Latin
Music Awards features top solo performers & Latin groups who compete for top honors for artist of the year, song of the year, and best new artist.
This year, the 8th annual American Latin Music Awards is set to return on Thursday, April 20, 2023 beginning at 7PM ET co-hosted by Galilea Montijo and Julián Gil live from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
New this year? The Latin AMAs move from their original TV home, Telemundo, to a simulcast on Univision, UNIMÁS and Galavisión.
With the announcement of 2023 American Latin Music Award nominees in March, it's Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny who leads the pack with 11 nominations including artist of the year, song of the year and album of the year.
Becky G and Daddy Yankee follow with nine nominations each along with eight nods for Grupo Frontera, Karol G, Rauw Alejandro, Romeo Santos and Rosalía.
Fans can vote for their favorite artists on Univision.com/LatinAMAs through Sunday, March 26 and be sure to keep it here for performers, presenters, and the announcement of big winners in April.

• The Latin AMAs debuted on October 8, 2015 on Telemundo and was hosted by Mexican singer Lucero.
• Karol G made history with a milestone win at the 2022 Latin AMAs as the first woman to take home the artist of the year award.
• Enrique Iglesias holds the record for most wins at the Latin AMAs with 13 awards. CNCO is the most awarded group and second overall with 12 awards.
• Karol G is the most awarded female artist with nine awards, followed by Selena Gomez with six awards.
• J Balvin is the most nominated act overall with 40 Latin AMA nominations (and seven wins), followed by Bad Bunny with 31 nods (and six wins).
