With fall just around the corner, July is summer sale 'prime time' for scoring deals on beach chairs, towels, backyard equipment, summer party goods, patio furniture, swimsuits, sandals, and more summer fashion.

Also look for bargains on bicycles, as well as boating and snorkeling equipment, as retailers sell off their summer inventory to get ready to stock their shelves for fall.

Also count on special blowouts at Best Buy, Macy's, JC Penny, Ikea, Target and other major names offering big savings on everything from furniture, kids clothing and laptops to early back to school sales. Besides laptops, also look for the gamut of electronics on sale from tech gadgets to printers and cell phones.

Now's the time to score big on summer clothes, sandals, bathing suits, and beach and barbecue gear.

In the market for a new or used car? Come July, watch for TV commercial marathons to help push new models and used cars out the showroom door. At neighborhood auto centers, also look for special deals on auto accessories during an extended holiday weekend..

Meanwhile, if you're heading to the supermarket also keep an eye out for special deals for your barbecue party -- including sales on everything from charcoal to the chips and dip.

And... did somebody say YARD SALE? That's right. In addition to socializing with neighbors, now is a great time for front-lawn shopping and the possibility of finding unique deals at rock bottom prices.
