This year, the 2020 CMT Music Awards will be televised on cable channel CMT on Wednesday, October 14 live from the Bridgestone Arena in in Nashville, Tennessee, beginning at 8PM ET.

2019 CMT Music Awards rewind

2019 CMT nominees were revealed on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 as fan voting kicked off at Leading the pack this year were Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne and Zac Brown Band with three nods each.

Returning as host for the 2019 CMT Music Awards was Little Big Town for the second consecutive year.

Live performances on the big night included hosts Little BIg Town along with Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Brett Young, Zac Brown Band, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett, Boyz II Men, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Tanya Tucker, Toby Keith, Cole Swindelland, and Trombone Shorty.

And all-star list of presenters for the 2019 CMT Music Awards also included Bobby Bones, Brantley Gilbert, Carly Pearce, Chris Sullivan, Cody Alan, Hunter Hayes, Jessie James Decker, Jimmie Allen, Julia Michaels, MTV Star JWoww, Kate Bosworth, Katie Cook, Kiefer Sutherland, Lindsay Ell, Maddie & Tae, Michael Ray, Michelle Monaghan, Midland, Sarah Hyland, and Trisha Yearwood.
