The CMT Music Video Awards honors the best, hottest and most inspiring country music videos of the past year.
They're also distinguished for being the only fan-voted awards in country music.
This year, watch for nominees to be announced in late April, followed by the 11th annual awards ceremony taking place in early June 2012 from its traditional home in Nashville, Tennessee, airing live on CMT in primetime.

Leading the 2011 CMT Music Award nominations was Jason Aldean who received a total of four nods including Video of the Year, Best Male Video and, new in 2011 - Best Web Video of the Year.
Following closely behind with three nominations apiece were The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift and Zac Brown Band. Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Carrie Underwood each earned two nominations.
