Where: Televised on CBS and Paramount+ live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

The CMT Music Awards honor the best, hottest and most inspiring country music videos of the past year. They're also distinguished for being the only fan-voted awards in country music, with voting open online at cmt.com.

The 2024 CMT Music Awards ceremony will aired on CBS live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on April 7th from 7 - 10 PM ET. Hosting this year's ceremony for the fourth time in a row was Kelsea Ballerini.

The 2024 CMT nominees list had Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, and host Kelsea Ballerini leading the nominations with three nods each.

Live performances at this year's awards show included Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, and Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean. Dasha, along with Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion and Parker McCollum and Brittney Spencer 

Presenters who gave out awards included Amber Riley, Billy Bob Thornton, Emma Roberts, Minnie Driver, Emily Osment, Jane Seymour, James Van Der Beek, Max Theriot, Montana Jordan, Gayle King, Cody Johnson, Melissa Etheridge, Megan Moroney, Mickey Guyton, Parmalee, Paul Walter Hauser, Carly Pearce and Jelly Roll.

This year's inaugural CMT Humanitarian Award honoedr singer Tricia Yearwood. In addition to accepting the award, Yearwood debuted her new song in a world-premiere performance of “Put It In A Song,” the first release from her upcoming album.

• Often called "the Carrie Underwood lovefest", the CMT Music Awards has honored Carrie Underwood the most with a total of 25 wins including 10 for Video of the Year.

• For Male Video of the Year, Kenny Chesney leads with five wins while Miranda Lambert also has five wins for Female Video of the Year.

• Taylor Swift received her first ever award of her career when she won Breakthrough Video of the Year at the 2007 CMT Music Awards.

• The CMT Music Awards used to be called the CMT Flameworthy Music Awards due to audience lighter waving during performances at country music concerts.
