One of the night's big winners was Avengers: Infinity War which was named best movie of the year and best action movie, along with best female movie star awarded to Scarlett Johansson.

Special awards included the inaugural People's Icon Award going to actress and funny lady Melissa McCarthy. In addition, Victoria Beckham was presented with the Fashion Icon award, while Bryan Stevenson, a social activist and founder of Equal Justice Initiative, was named the People's Champion of 2018.

Reilly, Jack McBrayer, Sarah Silverman, Kat Graham, Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman, Retta, Johnny Galecki, Leighton Meester, Ryan Eggold, Taran Killam, Sabrina Carpenter, Shay Mitchell, and Terry Crews.
