It's that slime again!

This August, they will bring it all back for the Kids Choice Sports Awards!

Following in the footsteps of the original Kids Choice Awards, Nickelodeon will celebrate its sixth year putting the spotlight on kids' favorite sports stars in 2019.

Michael Straham returns to host the
2019 Kids Choice Sports Awards.

This year, (see below) nominees were announced in June, followed by the big ceremony and announcement of winners at the 2019 Kids Choice Sports Awards televised on Nickelodeon at 8PM ET on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Returning to host the festivities is Michael Straham, who hosted the very first Kids Choice Sports Awards back in 2014!

In 2019, Serena Williams, Stephen Curry and James Harden lead the nominees with four apiece.

As usual, voting has already begin at nickplay.com in categories such as "Best Male Athlete" and "Best Female Athlete", "Favorite Newcomer", and the "Don't Try This At Home" category -- featuring favorite daredevil sports stars!

Already announced is the recipient of this year's Legend Award, basketball great Dwayne Wade.

So far, presenters announced for the big night will include singer Ciara with more to follow.

Meanwhile, keep it here for the announcement of winners at the 2019 Kids Choice Sports Awards.

Just up ahead, check out more about the Kids Choice Sports Awards including fun facts, trivia and a complete list of 2019 Kids Choice Sports Awards nominees.

DID YOU KNOW? Kids Choice Sports Awards fun facts

• Super Bowl champ Russell Wilson has become an audience favorite, having hosted the Kids Choice Sports Awards in 2015, 2016, 2017, and again this year making it 4 times in a row! The very first show in 2014 was hosted by Michael Strahan.

• For the first time ever, gold metallic slime was used in 2014 to cover soccer great David Beckham (and his two sons, Romeo and Cruz Beckham) when he accepted the night's biggest honor, the Legend Award.

• Funniest moment? In 2016, LeBron James accepted his award via video feed for Male Athlete of the Year. Sorry that he couldn't be there in person, LeBron suggest that host Russell Wilson act as his stand-in for the traditional sliming. Wilson responded, "First of all this is my house...and I get to decide..." but before Wilson could even finish his sentence he was suddenly covered in neon-green goo.
