DID YOU KNOW? Kids Choice Sports Awards fun facts

• Super Bowl champ Russell Wilson has become an audience favorite, having hosted the Kids Choice Sports Awards in 2015, 2016, 2017, and again this year making it 4 times in a row! The very first show in 2014 was hosted by Michael Strahan.

• For the first time ever, gold metallic slime was used in 2014 to cover soccer great David Beckham (and his two sons, Romeo and Cruz Beckham) when he accepted the night's biggest honor, the Legend Award.

• Funniest moment? In 2016, LeBron James accepted his award via video feed for Male Athlete of the Year. Sorry that he couldn't be there in person, LeBron suggest that host Russell Wilson act as his stand-in for the traditional sliming. Wilson responded, "First of all this is my house...and I get to decide..." but before Wilson could even finish his sentence he was suddenly covered in neon-green goo.
