MAIN Sports NASCAR Nextel Cup Chevy Rock & Roll 400

The Chevy Rock and Roll 400, the last race in the regular Nextel Cup Chase season, airs live on ABC Television on the evening of September 6, 2008.

Held at the Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. the Rock and Roll 400 features top ten-point earning drivers in an important "playoff" to determine the Nextel Cup champion.

Last year, Jimmie Johnson won the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 with a commanding 3.132 second victory as Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished 30th and as a result missed the Chase for the Nextel Cup.
