Rev up for pictures, facts & information on the NASCAR Nextel Cup season with the spotlight on top races including the Pepsi 400, Coca Cola 600, Indy 500 and, of course, the Daytona 500.

The Bud Shootout kicks off in February and a week later, the Daytona 500 heralds the start of the official season - followed by the 36 races on the annual calender including the Chase for the Nextel Cup.

Coming Up in 2007

The 2007 venue - at top speedways in major cities across the country - remains the same, although the race order has been switched slightly:

The summer months will see some variation - as the schedule jumps from New Hampshire on July 1; to Daytona on July 7; and to Chicago on July 15 (with the previous order having been Daytona, Chicago, New Hampshire.)

The most notable change will be a first-ever July run for Indy's Allstate 400, switching from the traditional first weekend in August to July 29, 2007.

NASCAR in Primetime TV Schedule

In August, watch for ABC to begin airing five one-hour episodes on Wednesdays at 9 Eastern, 8 Central.
