Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac

Pirate Week Cayman Islands

A three-island British dependency, the Cayman Islands are located in the Caribbean just south Cuba and northwest of Jamaica.

Comprised of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman, the Grand Cayman is the largest of the three islands with George Town the central city and a major port for Caribbean cruises.

While no visit to the islands would be complete without a visit to the Grand Cayman's famous Seven Mile beach, (often seen on lists of the world's best beaches), a good number of other attractions beckon.

Within walking distance from George Town, landlubbers can take in nautical history at the national museum and more sea bounty at the Cayman Maritime Treasure Museum. For quiet walks and stunning natural beauty, also don't miss the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park.

For up-close looks at neighboring sea denizens, take a trip to the sea turtle farm for eye-to-eye meetings with tiny to 400 lb. specimens, or ride aboard the very exciting Atlantis Deep Dive Submarine (located right next door to the cruise ship terminal) for more close encounters with Cayman marine life.
