The
northern climes of Maine are not particularly ideal for grape
growing, but with varieties requiring short growing seasons -
such as the Fredonia, Seedless, and the Delaware grape - Maine winemakers do
very well, thank you.
And with blueberry,
strawberry and pear leading the way, the grape is not the only
fruit to make its way to the vats.
