Sausage Stuffing

 

Number of Servings: 4-6
Prep Time: 30 mins Skill Level: Easy

Ingredients:

12 oz. breakfast sausage roll
1 small loaf of day-old bread, cubed (or 1 16 oz. package of dried bread cubes)
1 - 1 1/2 cups chicken broth or water to moisten
1 cup chopped onion
1 large egg
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Salt and pepper

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix until just moist and well blended.

2. Lightly pack stuffing into neck and body cavity of turkey.

3. Place any excess stuffing in a backing pan or dish, cover and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Helpful Hints:

This is usually enough for a 12-14 pound turkey.
