1. Rinse cranberries gently but well. 2. Add cranberries, sugar and water to heavy bottom sauce pan. 3. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. 4. Place a colander over a large bowl and empty cranberry mixture into the colander. 5. Sift berries through the colander into the bowl. 6. Leave in bowl or place in decorative molds to harden. 7. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
