It's National Pizza Day! Mark your calendars as America turns into one big pizza fest on Saturday, February 9, 2024. Watch for national pizza chains like Domino's, Papa John's and others to be participating with National Pizza Day deals and freebies on the big day, along with neighborhood pizza joints joining the fun. Last year, for example, Domino's nationwide offered two menu items for $7 each for National Pizza Day. Papa John's followed by introducing its Crispy Parm Pizza just in time for National Pizza Day for $13, along with its heart-shaped pizza for $12 just in time for Valentine's Day. Pizza Hut brought back their oversized Big New Yorker pizza with double pepperoni for $14 in honor of the day. A free large Chuck E. Cheese pizza with any one topping was available to customers when they bought one at regular price at select locations. It's fun and easy. Just visit your local supermarket and look for pre-made pizza dough, along with pizza or marinara tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella, and your favorite toppings. Assemble it at home and bake for about 20 minutes at 375°F, or until the crust is golden and the cheese hot and bubbly. And, remember Valentine's Day is just around the corner if you want to make a homemade heart-shaped pizza for one of the most romantic days of the year.
