The 2025 American Music Awards airied live coast to coast from Las Vegas, Nevada during Memorial Day weekend on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Monday May 26, 2025 at 8PM ET/5PM PT.

Returning to host the show was singer Jennifer Lopez following a decade-long absence when she first hosted the AMAs in 2015.

Leading the list of 2025 AMA nominees (also see this year's WINNERS, below) was Kendrick Lamar with a whopping 10 nominations followed by Post Malone with eight nods. Tied for third place overall were Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey with seven nominations each.



Top nominees at the 2025 American Music Awards included Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish and Post Malone.


Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Moran Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter and SZA rounded out the list of top nominees with six nods apiece.

Announced earlier, Rpd Stewart received he Lifetime Achievement Award and also performed.

More performers taking the stage incuded host Jennifer Lopez, as well as this year's recipient of the coveted ICON Award, Janet Jackson. They were joined in the AMA music lineup by Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Gloria Estefan, Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson and Reneé Rapp.

Handing out awards and making speciall appearances on the big night were Shaboozey.Tiffany Haddish. Wayne Brady, Dan + Shay, Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, Kai Cenat, Megan Moroney, Nikki Glaser, Alix Earle. Cara Delevingne amd Ciara.
