kids choice awardsGet ready for another celebrity slime-fest as the Kids Choice Awards returns this year in July on Nickelodeon!

Usually airing in March, the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2024 has been pushed back this year until July and will live on Saturday, July 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Pauley Pavilion on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles,

This July also marks the landmark 25th anniversary of the SpongeBob SquarePants who will be celebrated at this year;s show.

Meanwhile, watch for a complete list of KCA nominations to be unveiled over the summer followed by who will host, performers and presenters, along with the announcement of big winners on awards night!


2023 Kids' Choice Awards rewind

The KCAs went full-throttle in 2023 when it was televised on March 4th on Nickelodeon at 7PM live from the Microsoft Theater with simulcasts on TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, TVLand, CMT and MTV2.

TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and Nate Burleson, co-host of CBS Mornings and CBS Sports analyst, co-hosted the show.

Leading the 2023 Kids Choice nominees (also see WINNERS, below) in the music categories was Taylor Swift with five nods including two for favorite song, “Anti-Hero” and “Bejeweled.”

In television categories, Stranger Things led the pack with six nominations, followed by That Girl Lay Lay, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder with four nominations each.

New this year in special awards, funnyman Adam Sandler was on hand to accept the the inaugural King of Comedy Award on the big night.

Bebe Rexha was the headlining performer with her latest hit “I’m Good (Blue).”

Also appearing was The Little Mermaid‘s Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy and Awkwafina, Pete Davidson, Dungeons & Dragons’ Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez, Transformers’ Anthony Ramos, plus Seth Rogen, Lil Baby and more.

Nickelodeon stars That Girl Lay Lay also hit the stage, and Young Dylan Dylan perfomed his new single “I Just Wanna.”
