Sure there's world class Colorado ski resorts and fresh mountain air.

But BEACHES?

Colorado is home to natural wonders of all kinds, including some of the best sandy beaches at lakes and reservoirs for summer fun and frolic.

And, if you think you'll miss the ocean while in Colorado -- just check out the surfing scene on the Pueblo rapids (see video, below.)

Of course, you don't have to travel far from such urban areas to find a cool spot to soak up the rays. A short drive from Denver, you'll find yourself bathing at the swim beach at the Aurora Reservoir. Or, try Chatfield State Park for beach swimming, sailing, fishing and beachside camping, Only minutes away from Boulder is beachy Boulder Reservoir for swimming, sunbathing and picnicking.
