September in New Jersey only hints at what's to come -- as the Garden State goes full blazes by mid-October for one of the northeast's most bountiful fall foliage shows.
In fact, go anywhere in October in the Garden State and you're almost guaranteed an eyeful in Autumn, especially in such fall foliage hotspots as Cape May and the Jersey Shore, the Delaware Water Gap, or the Northwest Skylands.
Enjoy the whole day, or the entire weekend, during New Jersey fall festival season. Have fun!
