NOTE: always look for BC wines that are made from local grapes, and beware of bottles that contain the wording "Cellared in Canada". These use foreign bulk wine to produce a wine that is definitely not the genuine article!

British Columbia's GENUINE wine country is located in two distinct wine-growing regions: the coastal areas of Vancouver Island and Fraser Valley - along with the Okanagan Valley and Similkameen Valley to the south.
