Emmy Awards
In
2009, the annual Daytime Emmy Awards show scrambled to find a
sponor when the major networks suddenly pulled out of airing this
year's presentation.
Oh,
the drama! But then there was a happy ending when the CW
Television Network announced it would telecast the 36th annual
presentation on August 30th, live from Los Angeles at 8PM ET,
hosted by Ugly
Betty villainess, Vanessa Williams.
In
2010, the Daytime Emmy Awards remains in flux as firm dates and
telecast rights have not been announced, although it is generally
believed that the CW channel will again air the Daytime Emmys
sometime in late summer. Stay tuned!
