Football TV 2024 - 2025 College Bowl Games
 December ushers in a college bowl season with top ranked teams heading into the playoffs with a countdown to the final championship game in January.
In all, more than 40 end season football subdivision games will be played in a month-long football marathon airing live (see the full college bowl TV schedule below) with ESPN once again the major broadcaster. .
College football championship is expanding for 2024-2025
If you haven't heard already, starting this year the college championship expands to a new 12-team format. It will feature, in order, the top four conference champions, followed by some combination of the top six at-large bids and two highest-ranked remaining conference champions. Teams will be ordered based on the College Football Playoff rankings.
As usual, games will continue to rotate among the six major bowl games. With the new expansion, the Big Six will encompass both the quarters and semifinals. Stay tuned!
2025 semifinal games and the championship
This year, the Orange Bowl and the Cotton Bowl.will act as the semifinals in a traditional six-game rotation which, in any given year, might also include the Fiesta Bowl, Peach Bowl, the Rose Bowl and the Sugar Bowl.
Semifinal winners will then go on to meet up at the College Football Championship which airs this year on ESPN on Monday, January 20, 2025 beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET live from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
